Hannah Solow is an NYC based actor, singer, and writer. She received her BFA in drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association. She has performed at The Public Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Lucille Lortel (as a crocodile made of trash) among other places/basements in NYC. She performed on Broadway at The Cort Theatre as the “understudy” to Mike Birbiglia in his show, The New One. She traveled to over 20 cities across the country performing as “Gertie Cummings” in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!” directed by Daniel Fish.

She performed every Monday at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade with musical improv team, Rumpleteaser, and monthly with house sketch team, BedRock. She has performed her original standup, characters and songs at Union Hall, Caroline’s, Club Cumming, Littlefield, and many more places/basements. For many years she taught improvisation to students pre-K through fifth grade in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. They were way funnier than she is.

She also creates videos and songs from home and is trying to figure out the best place to store all her wigs. Send her a message if you have any wig storage ideas.

She is currently understudy to Mary and Mary’s Chaperone/Bill in Oh, Mary!, written by Cole Escola and directed by Sam Pinkleton, at The Lucille Lortel Theatre.
